Do Y.O.U. Awards

November is almost here. Here’s some information about awards to keep in mind as you finalize plans for your Run. Most awards will be decided based on information you provide via written survey, etc., so remember the details about your Run--the normal stuff: route, time, miles, calories, weather, # of squirrels, etc.

During Your Run: Bring back something cool you find during your run. We will vote on the best souvenir at the party. Do not collect anything living or recently living. Do not collect anything if the act of removing it from the location in which you found it constitutes a felony (misdemeanors are okay).

After Your Run:
Have someone take a picture of you during or directly after your run. If you do not have any friends or family, take the picture yourself.

Keep one of the socks from your run & bring it to the party (you’ll get it back later). If you ran barefooted, in Vibram 5-Finger “shoes,” or sockless, provide a toenail or any foreign object that became imbedded in the sole of your foot during your Run. A specimen bag will be sent to you for this purpose.

Send me a note when you complete your Run & I will send you a questionnaire to fill out. It is probably best to conduct the surveys via email, so if I don’t have your email, send me a personal message on this forum with your email address.
