Feeling lots better today, so I'm back in.  Right now it's a toss up between 3 loops at Clinton Nov. 20th at night or possibly a little Farmdale fun featuring a favorite little kitty of mine...  Mike, I'm sending out a check asap.

be very careful if your Clinton night run turns into day on that weekend, it is 1st shotgun season for deer.  The ranger said the trail is not closed but highly suggested running in orange, not a bad idea if you are running anywhere on trails the weekend of Nov 19th, 20th, 21st and Dec 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.  (especially if you wander close to my property as my youngest son Izzy age 10 will be toting a 20 gauge slug gun around his first year shotgun hunting).

Anyone know the rain policy for our "Tour de Parks"?  I know Farmdale is off limits for 24 hours after rain...

McNaughton
Black Partridge
Wildlife (this is OK, it drains very well)
Jubilee

As far as I know, Farmdale is the only one with restrictions.  Black Partridge takes a lot of rain to even notice it on the trails.  Like Mike said, rain makes McNaughton fun, and Jubilee turns into a veritable slip-n-slide!  Have fun!

Both McN and Jubilee are wide open the sign at Jubilee might say trails closed but that is for only horse and bike folk

keep in mind deer season is in full swing at Jubilee

Plans are still "GO" for this Saturday.  However, in the spirit of being good stewards of the trails/earth, we must be flexible.  Farmdale may get sidelined, depending on rainfall.  Then we would add miles at the other parks.  If it is really muddy and possibly still raining Sat AM, we might have to cancel.  Raindate for Beth and I, Sat the 20th.  We will keep posting.  Remember to wear orange if joinng us a Jubilee(deer season).

For those who want to carpool in the "Tour de Parks" tomorrow, meet us in the EP Kohl's parking lot at 7 a.m.  Please be considerate of our tour guide and bring something to sit on and bags for muddy shoes, etc.

Don't forget your specimen bag and camera...

Beth and MIke, I will meet you both at Kohl's.  If needed, I can drive, too.  Looks like we still might get to do Farmdale.  Got to get my "stuff" ready.  See everyone bright and early!!!
