Hmmm I was going to make it my last race of the year.  I guess it all depends on when my surgery is scheduled.  I want to do my surgery in Dec so I am ready to start back training in Jan/Feb so I will be ready for spring races.  We will see....

I wanted to do Deer Run, but I also want to do the Survivor Series at Rock Cut, and there are just so many Saturdays I can take off work... undecided

there is, but please be advised that this is an 8k, NOT an 80k.
 
the shirt from 2002 is still one of my favorite race shirts of all-time.  can't do it this year, giving finals (who the he11 schedules finals on a saturday???).

sir dirt devil, i did a 5k, not a 50k, a 5k, my first ever, for shits n giggles last june and found it surprisingly fun so whats the occasional short race!
