I echo all the previous comments.  Mike, Adam...as always, great job.  Thanks to BJ and all the others for making it all work smoothly.

My friend Scott is new to the running community and this was by far his longest run ever at 20.5 miles.  Way to go Scott!  So I asked him if he was hooked.  His response, "Yes, but mainly for the way I was treated before, during and after the race.  No other race director has ever made me feel so welcome."

You guys made me proud.  Thank you.

Well here it goes......

First and foremost Thank You to IVS, if you are not member please sign up and support them without them and the contacts they afford us we simply could not do this.

Thanks to our wives (Mike and I's) we do not have multiple, yet.

Thanks to our awesome volunteers, Dave T. Chris D, Robin R, BJ W. Chris A. and whomever else remotely touches this race.

Our sponsors, Ipicco, Burnzees Bar and Grill in Brimfield, Road ID, William Jones Ferrier extraodinar.

Jubilee State Park, Tom Hintz for making sure the park is tip top for our event. Seriously for those who don't know Tom is an Ultra swimmer and takes great pride in making sure the park exceeds expectations.

I will be posting the email address for Tom's boss I would ask if you get the time to drop him or her an email to express your thoughts on Tom and the park.

Laurel the person who RUNS the aid station and we stay out of her way. SHE IS AMAZING!!

All the runners, you spend your money and your time to come support this event without you, Mike and I would just be sitting on the picnic table looking around.

This local running community is amazing, EVERY out of town runner made a point to tell us how amazing everyone was.

Ann for just being.. Wink

I know everyone was thinking how tough can a 3.5 mile loop be we hope we didn't disappoint. This could be a turning point for CRUD. Could we use the same course two years in a row? You folks gutted out a tough course and some tough weather.

We already have a few changes in mind for next year to hopefully improve the event.

Mike, aka Big Man, for keeping me in check and being the brains behind the operation.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, to everyone you are all amazing and I am honored and humbled to be a part of your lives.

Z

Oh yeah, thanks for Ann for the skull and severed arm.  It was a welcome sight.  Well, and that it signified the end of the loop was near.

It was supposed to signify that the end of the world was near, but since that didn't happen, end of the loop is close enough.   Wink

Call me a sissy, but I'm glad CRUD isn't this weekend. Even my paved driveway is muddy now.

good thing CRUD wasn't yesterday.  ran a loop this morning and found three newly downed trees (two big ones on Prairie Lane Trail).  BTW, all those hills were still there..............no prank leftovers.

I'm glad CRUD wasn't today either.  It was way more fun last weekend!
