Met with Tom today at the park and the reroute trail will not work. While runners can traverse it bikers and horse folk probably could not with out a bridge etc... so we will run either across the short section of field or along the edge of it. The field will be converted to a meadow in a few years so a nice trail there makes much more sense.
 
Also the deadline is tomorrow Noon!!

When you run through hoops tomorrow, wear skirts on the field and drop them on the original trail.    

Man, I was going to sign up tomorrow at midnight, but not now that we can't use the new trail.  

Crap, you convinced me to sign up again, and I stayed up until midnight so I wouldn't miss the cutoff.  Why didn't someone tell me it was 12 noon?    Guess I'll have to volunteer for 24 hours instead of run.  I like the sound of that better.

1:45 left to register.  We're almost to 100 runners.  Get signed up now!

I've gotten 3.49 a number of times on my Garmin. It just seems longer.
 
At the Race for the Cure, Bremer Jewelry had some REALLY nice Port-a-potties. They had wicker baskets of extra toilet paper rolls, a small basket of fragrant potpourri, a can of air freshener, hand sanitizer, and other decorations. It was a really nice touch.  I'm just saying....
