Leadville 100 (Read 881 times)

Darnyankee IVS Ultra Marathoner Posts: 842 Gender:	Leadville 100 Aug 19^th, 2011, 8:50am Tomorrow Scott Klopfenstein(CRUD 24 hr winner) goes for 10 in a row and the silver buckle for 1000 miles logged at Leadville!! I believe we have two local CITRA RDs out there to pace him or at least to try and keep up with him, our own Chris "Thelma" Dierker and Mike "Louise" Klopfenstein road tripped out through the night. www.farmdaletrailrun.com

Paul_Wilkerson IVS Marathoner Posts: 315 Gender:	Re: Leadville 100 Reply #12 - Aug 21^st, 2011, 9:03pm I have three thoughts 1) 1000 miles at any race is impressive, but 10 in a row at Leadville! Whow! 2) The CRUD course is clearly more difficult than Leadville. 3) If Thelma and Louise can promise similar results I am interested in hiring them next month.
