Just wanting to wish my good friend Greg all the best as he and his baby momma travel to South Dakota where he will fight an epic battle with the trail and his IT band. May the wings on your ankles come to life and carry you to victory! Oh, and sorry I dripped sweat all over your new floor.

Don't forget mountain lions; there was one near the course when Mike and I (and Donna) did the first one. But I suspect that by the time the lion saw us, we were smelly and unappetizing.

If you feel good during an ultra, don't worry. You'll get over it.

Sniff... sniff... I think I smell a sub 24! No pressure though Greg.... Regardless of your time, I KNOW you will finish so let me congratulate you in advance! I hope you both have a great time.

Good luck, Greg! Even if it's brutal hot during the day, remember that you WILL feel better as the sun starts to set and things begin to cool down. Take it aid station to aid station and you WILL finish!

He did it! Greg threw down a sub 24 (23:42 to be exact!)!!! Great job Greg, now get some rest - you earned it! Can't wait to hear the tale and see the buckle!

Very impressive Greg! Sounds like your pace plan worked out perfectly.
Greg just had to prove me wrong. Earlier this week I told him 23:43 was my prediction.
