It was the first Cherry Fest 5K for me today, but enjoyed it.  Perfect race conditions and the lay-out made for a fair race.  I've been out of the IVS race loop for a while, so it was great to see a lot of familiar faces out their.
 
It was also impressive to see so many people out for the race as well.  I was surprised with how many came out.  Hope to see more of my running friends this summer.
 
The Big Willi Style has waited long enough for a solid racing season

The West Peoria Jamboree was very small.....and weighted towards those at the front of the pack.   I like races like these even though it is a bit humbling to watch the bulk of the field pull away from you and disappear into the distance.
